When viewed from the side the nose should have a gentle
slope from the forehead to the tip of the nose. Some people may

gentlt slope that is aesthetically pleasing.
Nasal
deviation
When viewed from the fron the nose may appear deviated to

Broad
nose
It is common to have a nose that is too wide or a tip that
is wide and heavy. Both can be corrected to achieve a pleasing

partly covers the upper lip. The results of correcting this
deformity are often remarkable and life changing.
What type of
anaesthesia will be required?
Rhinoplasty is most often done under general anaesthesia.
However if only the tip of the nose has to be altered, it can be
done by numbing the area.
How long will I stay
in the hospital?
Depending upon the anaesthesia required, hospital stay will vary from a cople of hours to 1 day.
Will there be a
dressing after surgery?
Yes. The will be a dressing which may stay for upto 14
days.
What is the total down time after nose job surgery?
Patients are usually up and about the very same day. On the day after surgery they are allowed light activity. Aerobics are avoided for a week to 10 days. Patients usually resume normal activity after 3 weeks.
What are the possible risks and complication after Rhinoplasty?
You may have to bear with nasal blockage for a few days
