Lip pumping is done to increase the volume of lips os that
they look fuller and plump. There are different ways of doing
it.
How is lip pumping
done?
Lip volume and shape can be improved in two ways?
Does it require
admission?
No. It is an out patient procedure usually done in the
office
Does it require
anaesthesia?
Injection of artificial filler does not require anaesthesia.
If you decide to have lip enhancement using body tissue such as a
tendon or fat, it will require numbing to remove the desired
tissue. It is still a minor procedure and does not require
admission.
What is the down time after lip pumping?
Lip pumping by fillers can be done during th coffee break!
There is no down time and yo can walk back to work immediately
after the procedure.
What are the possible risks and complication lip pumping?
No major complication has been reported after lp pumping.
Sometimes there may be asymmetry which may be corrected by either
removing a part of the filler or injecting a bit more if
required.
